Filming will be taking place in Bulgaria on the sequel to Sylvester Stallone’s 2010 all-star action movie “The Expendables”. It is set to begin in September, and now rumors are starting to swirl about what action heavyweights will be along for the ride this time around. We expected Stallone, Statham, Lundgren and Rourke to return, but this is the first time we’ve heard of Travolta, Norris and Vam Damme’s involvement (Stallone has been wanting Schwarzenegger and Willis to return for awhile.) Some of the actors may simply be on a wishlist or “in talks,” and even if they do appear it could be in a cameo-type role similar to Schwarzenegger and Willis involvement in the first film. Simon West diretor of “Con Air” is directing, with the film slated for August 17th, 2012.
